Value: Let’s build new economies together
You are very much invited to hop on board this exploration of new economies. During this presentation VALUE editors Amber and Mojdeh invite you to follow us – a bunch of curious millennials – on a heartfelt journey towards a more inclusive and sustainable world. We set off to find out what our roles could be in creating this new world and how we can go about changing the system.
The bookazine VALUE isn’t your average economic publication: it’s not dry or all about numbers, instead we use storytelling and imagination to address the subject. In the same spirit, our presentation will be a creative exchange of ideas and information. When we made VALUE, we saw it as a conversation starter. We hope to meet students, entrepreneurs, teachers, politicians or actually anyone who’s interested in propelling forward societal and ecological change. Because the need for change needs to be carried widely in order to make it happen.

Speaker(s) Biography
Amber Bloos is a writer, researcher & creative producer with a background in cultural sociology. Amber loves to explore, listen and open her own and other people’s eyes to new ways of thinking, seeing and doing. After her studies, she found her calling at Company New Heroes where she works on projects in which art and society intersect with each other. With VALUE magazine she joined forces with other creatives, specialists and entrepreneurs to find tools and inspiration for the transition to a new economy.
Mojdeh Feili was literally born for literature (her name comes from a 13th century Persian poetry book), She got her master’s degree in ‘English literature in a visual culture’ a few years back. Now she is a writer, editor and book reviewer. Social justice is at the heart of everything she does and she’s always working on some kind of project. For VALUE, she hopped on board as an editor, but was not just in charge of swatting away spelling mistakes and fixing misplaced commas. She applied her critical eye to everything you read in VALUE to make it as accessible and engaging as possible.
