Research is not enough. How to write and talk about your scientific work
Writing a thesis is not just about putting your scientific findings together in a nice paper; it is a process of sharpening your research goals, fitting into the scientific community and communicating what you did – and will do. In this interdisciplinary course we practice to outline the key points of your work and formulate a scientific elevator pitch. We will learn about ways to make you and your research seen – in the media and with scientists of other disciplines. Since writing is a form of craftsmanship – practice helps. We will practice style and storytelling and learn about clarity and structure as well as time management.
