The Aruba Investment Study Club University of Aruba hosted 3 presentations on the topic of cryptocurrencies

The Aruba Investment Study Club University of Aruba had a series of three presentations on the topic of cryptocurrencies.
Mr Stefan Oosterwaal, active in the restaurant business in Aruba, gave an introduction to the cryptocurrencies in general and more specifically on Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Mr Bruce Harms, policy advisor at the Ministry of Labor, Energy and Integration, explained the importance of education in coding for the Aruban children. Coding is the basis for the crypto currency technology and also the blockchain technology.
Mr Rendell de Kort, economist consultant, guided a discussion in which the crypto currencies are placed in a broader perspective: what is the optimal currency for a country, what about the supervision over cryptocurrencies and crypto currencies as a means for inclusion.

The purpose of the AISCUA is to learn about investing by doing it. AISCUA has a portfolio of shares on the NYSE, a wallet of crypto currencies and also investments in the local economy are discussed in the meetings.
The next meeting of the AISCUA is planned on February 1st, 2022. On the agenda are investment possibilities with crypto currencies. Meetings take place in room 2 at the University of Aruba.
