Description:
During this event, an overview will be provided of the characteristics of children and youth of Aruba. The presenters will focus on the household composition of children and youth, and the changes in the composition of households over time. In addition, data will be presented pertaining to the mental health and wellbeing, and the leisure activities of children and youth. During the presentations, key findings of the Child and Youth Survey 2022 will be presented alongside data collected during the 2000-2020 Census.
Speakers:
Monique Maduro – Department of Project and Research, Central Bureau of Statistics. She has been working at the CBS for over 25 years and has ample experience in the area of demography. Over the years, she been involved in all research projects conducted by the CBS
Desiree Helder – Head of the Department of Project and Research, Central Bureau of Statistics. She has been working at the CBS for nearly 20 years and is in charge of coordinating research projects conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics.
Damara Rasmijn – Communications Officer, Central Bureau of Statistics. She is in charge of communicating the work done at the Central Bureau of Statistics to data users and the public in general.
