Our dual event–a Monday evening reading on May 15th and a daytime workshop on the 16th–happens in the second week of our international poetry encounter on Aruba. We explore questions about the relevance of literary translation and comparative world literature for the future of Papiamento. Our evening-reading at the UA campus summons international poets from Brazil, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Aruba and Peru.
