Information Technology Department
The Information Technology Department at the University of Aruba ensures that faculty, students, and staff members have the information technology tools and infrastructure necessary to carry out the University’s mission. The IT Department designs network and telephone infrastructure, installs and maintains hardware equipment, and supports the software environment to ensure that computers, network, and internet services efficiently contribute to the learning, teaching, research, administration, and support activities for all members of the University.
Computer Center
The IT department is also in charge of the Computer Center, located on the second floor of the La Salle building, the main campus of the university. The Computer Center has a dual purpose; it is not only a computer lab but also a classroom for courses where computer access is an integral part of the course or class. Computers are also available in the library.
If you need any technical assistance in the Computer Center or encounter problems with logging into the UA network on campus, you can contact the Computer Center at cc@ua.aw.
