Our Orientation Days (O’days) are a purposeful, exciting, and high-energy time!

The most important aspect of these days is to inspire you and prepare you for your new academic journey. Throughout these days we’ll emphasize the importance of the UA VIBES!

Our O’days take place in August at the start of the academic year. Once you have been enrolled you will be notified of when the O’days take place. Keep on the lookout for this activity and don’t miss out on this opportunity to get to know your university, your faculty, and fellow students.

UA VIBES!

With our UA VIBES, we give you the tools and motivation to achieve your goals. In order for you to achieve the goals you have set for yourself, it is essential for you to visualize them and believe in yourself in order to succeed in everything you do.

For 30 years, the University of Aruba (UA) has been bringing the island’s most outstanding and highly motivated students together, offering them the opportunity to become something more.

Students are inspired in an environment that constantly underscores and fosters innovation, liberties, and personal and social growth. The confluence of modern classrooms, warm campus, and the community at the University of Aruba transforms students into extraordinary alumni who are prepared to positively contribute to the community’s quality of life.

What to expect?

During the O’days you are guaranteed to gain valuable information and have fun. In just a short time, you will learn your way around the UA and meet key people who will help make your educational journey a success!

The O’days take place over 3 days and include activities to help you get acquainted with the university and your fellow students.

1. On day one you will be officially welcomed to the university, you will get to meet and greet your faculty and end the day with a Happy Hour.
2. On day two you will meet and greet the student organizations active at the University of Aruba, take part in a fun team building activity and end the day with a dinner served by all the faculty deans of the university.
3. On day three you will take part in educational activities and end the day with the much anticipated “fun in the sun beach activity!”
