About us

The University of Aruba values an international atmosphere and international partnerships. Coordination, management, and support of (European) mobility programs and the realization of the university’s overall internationalization strategy are concentrated at the institutional level in the Office of International Affairs (OIA). The OIA operates under the direction of the Rector and is responsible for policy formulation, (financial) administration, external communication as well as preparing outbound and receiving incoming participants and collecting feedback from participants.

To firmly ground internationalization within the university, each faculty appoints a coordinator for International Programs, who acts as an intermediary between the faculty and the OIA. The appointee coordinates the programs and projects that are specific to a faculty, selects participants, and is the first contact in academic matters.

Our office is open between 08:00 AM – 12:00 PM and from 01:00 PM – 05:00 PM.

Information sessions

The OIA offers an information session at the beginning of each semester. The information sessions are open to all students of the university who want to learn about the international opportunities that are available to them and the procedures they need to follow to apply.
