Our tuition fees vary by study program type. Consult the following sections for more information about each study program type.

International students tuition
For international students* the listed full-time program tuition fees apply, multiplied by four. Contact us for more information.
*International students are non-dutch passport holders who have resided in Aruba for less than 5 years.
First year fee
For new students an Awg. 50 fee will be charged for general orientation days.
Payment plan
For the tuition there are two types of payment terms that can be chosen:
- Paying the full amount at once and must be paid before September 1st.
- Paying the full amount in two installments. The first installment must be paid by September 1st (half of the tuition fee + administration + registration cost). The second installment must be paid by January 15th (the second half of the tuition fee).
*Students who are applying for the Academic Foundation Year must pay the full tuition fee in one installment.

Important: the bank description must include the student’s name, student number and invoice number.
Proof of payment
If you pay your tuition by a bank/online transfer, you must provide a copy of your receipt by email or bring a hard copy to the Office of Financial Affairs.
(Partial) tuition refund
Depending on the month in which a student graduates, a graduate may qualify for a (partial) refund of tuition fees.
In the event that a student, due to illness or other exceptional circumstances beyond his or her control, is unable to attend lectures for a minimum period of six months in the current academic year, he or she may be entitled to partial restitution. In the case where a student has passed away during the academic year, the heirs of the deceased student receive the refund.
A formal request for restitution must be sent to the office of the Rector to rectoraat@ua.aw.
